Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, adjudicators and chair. My name is Andrew Collins and my team and I are hither today to oppose the motion that principal sex schools are better than mixed schools. Caitlin will be speaking somewhat ___________________and _________________. Emma-Jane will be speaking close to _________________and _________________________ and I will be speaking about the strangle single-sex schools cause to our society and the devastating effect of single-sex schools on social skills. Take a look around, what do you see? ( Schools, whether you serve or not are in fact a microcosm of our society. In society, do males and females work in different buildings, terminal in different supermarkets or eat in break in restaurants? We would be horrified by such gender apartheid. What core do we give to students if we insist on such grisly and archaic establishments as single sex schools? We project and avenge the notion that men and women cann ot achieve, cannot excel and cannot be productive in a mixed environment. I challenge each of you here to go home and question the validity of your parents decision to send you to a mixed school. Imagine your reaction if your parents insisted on such an outmoded and antiquated education system. Would you determine?
